Importance of Skate Size
A larger wheel rolls more easily and overcomes bigger obstacles.
Wheel size increases with higher capacities to maintain easy rolling and turning. Without these increases the dollies would become difficult to roll and the wheels would drag behind. JUNG machine skates are designed to require the lowest pushing and pulling force to roll and steer. Experience and testing of over 40+ years has shown us when a dolly must make the jump from one wheel size to the next to maintain the same low rolling and break-out resistance (3-10% of load weight). The larger wheels also provide the advantage of allowing the dollies to overcome bigger obstacles.
