The steel components of the rollers will naturally develop surface rust in weather. Minor surface rust does not decrease the performance. Long-term stationary exposure to weather and extreme conditions such as saltwater can rust the frame and degrade the structural support. If axles rust, the wheels may lock up. If the links rust, the chain may break. This marine anti-corrosion package adds a 4-layer marine offshore coating (incl. zinc primer, two intermediate coats, one topcoat with color) to the frame, galvanized wheels and stainless-steel axles & links.
